Condor Bank

We fished Condor Bank yesterday and caught 2 bigeye tunas, 1 albacore tuna and jumped off 2 white marlin...just waiting for the first blue marlin for the season....

Azores Bank full of tunas

We went the first time to Azores Bank this season...there were bigeye tunas all over the place...we caught 3, biggest easy 250lbs... perfect conditions all day!!!

Action

We caught a nice bigeye tuna and another white marlin on Sunday afternoon....yesterday we fished with a friend on his skiff and caught the first yellowfin tuna for the season...right now it is pretty much the best tuna bite around Faial I have seen in years...

Lots of tunas

Bigeye tunas are right outside the airport now.... we caught 7 on an afternoon trip yesterday...fish were between 100 and 180lbs... good fishing and perfect weather at the moment...

First White Marlin

We caught our first white marlin for the season on Saturday afternoon in the north of Faial...we also caught another bigeye tuna...signs looking very good for an excellent season

More tunas

We fished yesterday afternoon and caught 6 bigeyes up to 150lbs...they are still around in big numbers...awesome fishing!!!

Tuna Bite !!!!

Good start for us in the new season...we fish the last two days just a few hours in the afternoon and caught in total 12 bigeye tunas...biggest fish was around 250lbs...there is a lot of fish out there right now!!!
